one of the few guys in sports I genuinely root for. im glad he's persevered. having said that, if he would have stayed healthy he would have been a gem.

I agree. Mad tall with handles. Happy for him. I'm a fan.

Dude had All Star level talent.

Poor mans Penny hardaway

:whoa:

He was nothing like Penny breh, except they were the same height. He didnt possess Penny's athleticism, driving, or shooting skills at all, but he was a better passer then Penny.

Like somebody said, he was closer to a poor man's Rajon Rondo/Young Jason Kidd type PG....just at 6'7:manny:

This nikka is 6'-7" 175 lbs. Injuries didn't derail his career. Inability to bench the bar did. How did that nikka think he was gonna have an NBA career at that size?

Lets be real now. Shaun Livingston's injury also happened because dude looked like he did strength training. you can't be playing in the nba with an under-developed frame.

I didn't know them like that, only seen them around. I think Marcus and Serg were seniors when I came in as a freshman.

He was 21 when he got hurt though......he was nowhere near his prime breh:dwillhuh:

He's 27 now and would be entering his prime, but unfortunately, he's :flabbynsick: bc of the knee injury:to:

Penny was not a better "pure passer" than Shaun Livingston and they didnt possess the same game.

Livingston was more of a Rondo/Kidd type of PG (passer first) while Penny could do both:manny:

And we never got to see Penny in his prime either.....he got hurt 13 games into his 5th season at 26 yrs and was washed up ever since:to:

Man he was my favorite player. I remember when I first saw that injury I nearly :sadbron: he had injury problems before but in the playoff the year before he was showing signs of brilliance. I can tell yu this much, he has more heart than Oden does.
