A two-month investigation by St. John the Baptist Parish sheriff's deputies led to the discovery of an "indoor cannabis farm" at a Garyville house and the arrest of the homeowner. Authorities said they found 30 two- to three-foot tall marijuana plants, about $80 worth of marijuana, a device used for smoking marijuana, a bag of marijuana seeds, a lighting system for the plants' growth, plant food and $1,292 cash when the executed a search warrant Saturday at 7:39 a.m. in the 100 block of Crocus Street.

Two month investigation, kicking in this man's door, seizing all his money, for what? Wht was accomplished at the end if the day? As a tax payer nothing makes me more angry. There's killers walking are streets with no care in the world and these people want to focus on people who are in their house smoking weed. And these people think they've taken care of the problem, one less "criminal" off the street
