I actually forgot about that movie, until you brought it up.

She could have been greater than she is but she took her foot off the peddle somewhere around dark water. And the fact Wil Smith's son (Who could easily pass for mixed) had to be written as her "adopted" son in TDTESS kind of rubbed me the wrong way. An actress of her calibre could easily veto that but she didn't, seemed mad to me

I don't think she's as much as she just wouldn't really do well in interracial roles. I think the fact that Jaden Smith played her adopted son made the overall sense of humanity in the film a lot deeper.

But the movie was actually good. I don't really watch that many movies either, unless the performer is really good.
Both her and Mackie are two of my favorite.
