Guys, when you use the term "white supremacy", do you realize u are only affirming the silly notion that whites are superior to you??

using this term is almost on the same level of moronic proportions as blacks saying "oooh im black, i cant be racist" and not realizing how stupid they sound because they just essentially admitted that they're not in a position to be superior.

That's not what white supremacy means when we say it. We are talking about a system that drives and controls. Most of us who use the term don't think a single cac in this world is as good or better than any of us.

With Caribbean folk and West African folk, it's more "you not like us, we got our own swag". No different than NYC nikkas, Cali nikkas, Chicago nikkas, etc.

With the East African folk, it's more "eww....i don't hang with those people"

I see where you're coming from and I'm not suprised by your experience

it makes sense to me that it would probably be more stronger coming from Horn of Afrikans

because phenotypically (facial features) there's more of a contrast between Horn of Afrikans and Afrikan Americans

then with West Afrikans and African Americans

and ofcourse Afrikan Americans are descended from West Afrikans mostly, so there's probably more of a comradery/connection there...

'white supremacy' is an ideology in which western civilization & current systems of power were built upon. using this language acknowledges its existence so it's not harmful at all.

It seems as though there is tension between West Afrikans and Horn of Afrikans.

It seems as though many West Afrikans feel that us Horn of Afrikans have a superiority complex due to our looks and features.

Unfortunately, I think there's some validity to this.

Recently, two of my co-workers, one Ethiopian and one West Afrikan had a conversation about that.

And the West-Afrikan mentioned to him that its common knowledge in his family that Horn of Afrikans feel like they better then other Afrikans

So it seems like the same dynamic that exists in the Afrikan American community between lightskin and darkskin people,

seems to exist on the Afrikan continent. I'm talking about Lightskin Supremacy.

White Supremacy, being the parent of Lightskin Supremacy, dictates that those who have a lighter skin tone, are superior then those who have a darker skintone.

Now, just because you're lightskinned doesn't automatically mean that you subscribe to Lightskin Supremacy, but unfortunately, many lightskinned Afrikans do believe in that.

And if you are one of those Africans who believe in Lightskin Supremacy, please also recognize that by default you automatically belief in White Supremacy,

because that is where your foundational idealogy comes from.

I also think you have a case where other Afrikans project their inferiority complex unto us Horn of Afrikans, an inferiority complex that comes from the world downing Afrikans for our feautures.

Its also important to recognize that human beings will always find a reason to feel like they're better then other human beings.

Are there many Horn of Afrikans that feel like they are better and different then other Afrikans? Sure, but on the flipside,

I'm sure there's also many West Afrikans that feel like they better then us simply because they're more developed economically.

Anyways, lets stop it with all this corny, superiority, inferiority shyt and recognize that we are all victims of White Supremacy.
