Yo @Loose , you alright, breh? When i heard the news you were the first poster that came to mind. I was like "I hope this breh doesnt cause himself any harm" over this.

Seriously, breh i was really concerned. Just hollering at you now since i hadnt posted all weekend
I'm alright , I kind of seen it coming with the roc nation change. He turned into a entirely different person than he was a few years ago . From his interviews to his to even small statements . nikka came from interacting like a regular nikka on twitter to a transformed pr nikka. Went from talking about wanting to beat competition to bowing down. I think something changed the last 2 years with him and it starts with who's around him

Personally I Have Mixed Emotions About It All

I Feel Like KDs A Punk Ass For Joining GS But Also Feel Like He's Free To Do As He Pleases

What Bugs Me Is That The Thunder Had A Good Team, Built Off The Backs Of 2 Drafted Players And A Front Office That Cared, It's Not Like He Was In Some Hell Hole Team Whose Future Looked Bleak

On The Other Hand I'm A Hypocrite Cause If He Joined MY I Wouldn't Have Cared Why He Left And Who Had A Problem With It

:manny:

As An OKC Fan Though I Dunno How You Can Be So Unaffected, I'd Be In Full Panic Mode And Ready To Burn More Than Just A Jersey lol

Especially Knowing Russ Is Probably Next
I don't mind tanking never have, same with my titans. I actually want to trade Russ now to a team that can help him win. I think once you lose a player of his caliber you have to start over. I rather tank completely and be 76ers status.

The NCarolina
Plenty of all time greats have done only that and are all hall of famers. Try again.
And most of those greats have done it alone.

Kevin Durant has never not had a top 5 player on his team except his rookie season. He's been surrounded by great supporting cast since he came to the league

Unless something drastic happens the Cavs have no chance of beating a healthy Warriors
Why not? Neither team is equipped with the personnel to stop eachother from scoring. The Warriors have 0 rim protection right now, Zaza is a scrappy guy and a rebounder but a terrible interior presence. Iguodala's defense is only as good as the help rim protection that comes and whether or not LeBron feels like taking jumpers--as we saw how quickly he got exposed in the Finals. But the Cavs have the upperhand because they play at a deathly slow pace due to the fact that LeBron is a master of controlling game tempo. In a slow pace game you have to be efficient because every possession counts and in which case I take the team that lives in the paint against poor rim protection over the team that has built a reputation off bad shot selection jumpshots. :manny:

Kyrie is also only 1 year closer to his prime. Dude was 24 and just cooked Mr. Unanimous in the Finals. Most players don't hit their prime until 27...

As of right now, Cavs will have more depth. Warriors will sign a bunch of vet min dudes who're looking to chase rings but those dudes are rarely good for anything in the actual Finals series.

More importantly though, Durant CONSISTENTLY under performs in the postseason and his percentages--especially his 3 ball--go to shyt. Couple that the fact that he's LeBron's lifetime bytch and well...he's neutralized.

The irony of it is that these on paper super teams FAIL more than they succeed. The Heat went .500 in 4 Trips. The Celtics went .500 in 2 trips and failed to make it back on numerous occasions. The Lakers disaster. Even the Clippers to a certain extent. Have we ever seen a team as loaded as GS in the starting 5? Nah...but that's why you play the games. :yeshrug:

And I know some Coli fakkit is gonna quote this post and hit it with the :mjlol: like I don't know what I'm talking about...but I'm actually rarely wrong. When nikkas were saying Bogut's absence didn't matter I pointed out it'd be a series swinger and dudes laughed. When I said that Iggy is overrated and LeBron is just scared to take jumpers dudes laughed. When I said Curry's playstyle isn't sustainable or reliable dudes laughed. When I said that neither the Cavs or Warriors would be able to stop eachother but Cleveland would win out because they'd control the pace and boards...dudes laughed. But in the end...I was right. :umad:

I'm more excited about next season than the last one. You realize every team will be gunning to beat GSW? I'm actually going to buy league pass for next season.

The fukk does it matter? LeCocksucker was up 2-1 on Boston with"nobody" as you all claim and he quit on his team. I don't care if Delonte fukked his mom or not, he shouldn't have quit. The year before that they lost to Orlando who beat Boston. The year before that they went 7 with Boston. So no it wasn't to beat Boston.

What KD did is join the strong team. What James did is make a team to defeat the strong team. Imagine if James would have joined Boston.

The first point is false and not even worth more than a sentence.

And as I said before, KD + Russ + Poorly Fitted Role Players+ Bad Coaches + Cheap Management is not a great supporting cast. James Harden has been gone for 5 years now and Serge Ibaka is overrated. Stop it.

Billy was not a bad coach and their supporting cast was good enough to beat the Spurs and push the warriors to game 7, as well as go up on the warriors 3-1. Not to mention Durant played like absolute trash in those last 3 games.
