Did Eminem go through puberty at 35?Why the fukk did his voice change so much? That nasally flow was part of his appeal. Now he sounds weird as fukk.
No, he was replaced by a robot

Dude's schemes were disgusting. Em's flow was like Floyd Mayweather/Pernell Whitaker's footwork...just weaving all through that shyt.![]()

I remember being a kid and putting Em on my mix CD's while writing his shyt out to peep the schemes like![]()
Dude was just snapping on everything in the 90's.
Literally thousands of rappers on the underground scenes across the globe can spit like that...
But Em has an elite skill level for a mainstream artist...

You don't think its a dead giveaway that he has the same deeper voice he has today that he had on a 97 song like "Murder Murder"?
Should that not be a dead giveaway?
Anyway....SSLP had the nasally voice....that wasn't his real voice...it was marketing
this reminds me of how some people seriously belive MJ and Jermaine Jackson really both had those baby voices as their natural voices....
I say it all the time these musicians can sell anything to you guys....naive as hell
Em being "corny" is just em being em..he is an artist that really throws himself into his music for better or worse, and that is probably his biggest appeal. His ability to be vulnerable, noticeably white and awkward with women, is a huge reason why he got as big as he did.
I agree/disagree, he's one of the few artist to translate that underground style into mainstream pop appeal...but i wouldn't exactly say there are thousands of eminem's running around that can rhyme on that level CONSISTENTLY
It's plenty of rappers that can RAP, like REALLY rap in the underground scene, thing is, em's skill goes beyond the flash/bang of your typical underground skillset.
When you compare him to cats like chino, or bis, you gotta ask yourself at what point did he separate from the guys in his "class" so to speak. It can't just be the white thing because he left talented white rappers behind as well. His ability at song writing is underrated.
eminem is a better song writer then chino xl and canibus
and has a better ear for beats also then chino xl and canbius
they pretty much have the same skillset canibus and chino im speaking of , besides the flow delivery hooks.
eminem was able to take the best of his skills from what made him dope in the underground scene combine that with various content.
in terms of what he talked about make catchy hooks and have a good flow.
and that is why he blew past canibus chino xl and all the other cats that were in the underground during that time period.
I'm a cage fan too, but you're an idiot if you think you couldn't have swapped em and cage and got the same results. Being able to translate that "undeground" skillset to the mainstream is not something everybody can do.
I've seen comparisons to redman and luda as well on the mainstream side of things, and while red is obviously one of the GOATS you can see where em's style branches off into taking the humor/wit and adding in the emotion.
Once he lost his vocals, it was a wrap. He's just like Prodigy. Late 90's Em and early 00's Em was on top of the world.
who the fukk said old em is gone? have yall been listening?
