Dude's schemes were disgusting. Em's flow was like Floyd Mayweather/Pernell Whitaker's footwork...just weaving all through that shyt. :ohlawd:

Eminem - Any Man (Uncensored) - YouTube

I remember being a kid and putting Em on my mix CD's while writing his shyt out to peep the schemes like :ohhh: :whoo:

Dude was just snapping on everything in the 90's.

Yo.. Slim Shady!
Yo.. I'll fukkin.. I'll..
I'll puke, eat it, and freak you (eww)
Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to
The only key that I see to defeat you
would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you
and force feed you 'em both, and on each feet is a cleat shoe
I'll lift you off your feet so fast with a roundhouse
you'll think I pulled the fukkin ground out from underneath you
(bytch!) I ain't no fukkin G, I'm a cannibal
I ain't tryin to shoot you,
I'm tryin to chop you into pieces and eat you
Wrap you in rope and plastic, stab you with broken glass
and have you with open gashes strapped to a soakin mattress
Coke and acid, black magic, cloaks and daggers (ahhh!)
fukk the planet, until it spins on a broken axis
I'm so bananas I'm showin up to your open casket
to fill it full of explosive gasses
and close it back with a lit match in it
while I sit back and just hope it catches
Blow you to fragments
Laugh, roll you and smoke the ashes

this whole shyt rhymes lmao

em don't rhyme bars he rhyme whole sentences man ........

em is a rhyming machine

Em being "corny" is just em being em..he is an artist that really throws himself into his music for better or worse, and that is probably his biggest appeal. His ability to be vulnerable, noticeably white and awkward with women, is a huge reason why he got as big as he did.

Literally thousands of rappers on the underground scenes across the globe can spit like that...

But Em has an elite skill level for a mainstream artist...

I agree/disagree, he's one of the few artist to translate that underground style into mainstream pop appeal...but i wouldn't exactly say there are thousands of eminem's running around that can rhyme on that level CONSISTENTLY

It's plenty of rappers that can RAP, like REALLY rap in the underground scene, thing is, em's skill goes beyond the flash/bang of your typical underground skillset.

When you compare him to cats like chino, or bis, you gotta ask yourself at what point did he separate from the guys in his "class" so to speak. It can't just be the white thing because he left talented white rappers behind as well. His ability at song writing is underrated.

Did Eminem go through puberty at 35? :patrice:Why the fukk did his voice change so much? That nasally flow was part of his appeal. Now he sounds weird as fukk.

You don't think its a dead giveaway that he has the same deeper voice he has today that he had on a 97 song like "Murder Murder"?

Should that not be a dead giveaway?

Anyway....SSLP had the nasally voice....that wasn't his real voice...it was marketing

:snoop: this reminds me of how some people seriously belive MJ and Jermaine Jackson really both had those baby voices as their natural voices....

I say it all the time these musicians can sell anything to you guys....naive as hell

Nah, Em's voice definitely changed. He's like Prodigy from Mobb Deep - voice did a 360. And yes, he was putting on the nasally flow to a degree but his regular voice was still different from what it is now. :patrice:

i agree and disagree with this

eminem is a better song writer then chino xl and canibus
and has a better ear for beats also then chino xl and canbius

but they pretty much have the same skillset canibus and chino im speaking of , besides the flow delivery hooks.

eminem was able to take the best of his skills from what made him dope in the underground scene combine that with various content.
in terms of what he talked about make catchy hooks and have a good flow.

and that is why he blew past canibus chino xl and all the other cats that were in the underground during that time period.

but as far as skillset they are million cats i could name that are on par with him lyrically.

I'm a cage fan too, but you're an idiot if you think you couldn't have swapped em and cage and got the same results. Being able to translate that "undeground" skillset to the mainstream is not something everybody can do.

I've seen comparisons to redman and luda as well on the mainstream side of things, and while red is obviously one of the GOATS you can see where em's style branches off into taking the humor/wit influence and adding to it.

what are u trying to say with this this don't make any sense to me

and for once im agreeing with you !!!!

besides cage and eminem both being white and being in the underground

they were way different lyrically speaking eminem was way iller in terms of lyrics and overall talent

the only white mc's that were dope that came before eminem

were the beastie boys but they did not have the underground credbility like eminem had in terms of coming up through the battle scene so eminem was really ahead of his time and one of a kind

basically what im saying is being white does not give u a automatic pass to get credibility in this rap game u got to be dope

but being dope is one thing but being succesful is another thing and like i said eminem was able to combine being dope with industry sense and be succesful.

Once he lost his vocals, it was a wrap. He's just like Prodigy. Late 90's Em and early 00's Em was on top of the world.

Lol at the theory that there are rappers in the underground spitting harder than Em:russ:

Who..? The closest is 90s Aceyalone, 90s Rass, 90s Hiero..

The closet now is like charli2na or percee p..

The only rapper to ever come close to Ems skill level is pharaoh monch..
