A month ago my front brake caliper swung open and the pad flew out. All that shyt got yanked out by the spinning rim. Car barely stopped, sparks flew... rim and caliper destroyed.
I let Unk named Big Shadetree that hangs outside @ the Advanced Auto Parts do my brakes.
That mane told me that the bolt in the caliper should’ve been Locktite too. I started to fire on his old ass ... boy, if I didn’t have nothing to lose... We would’ve had to duel right then and there.

Speak to a lawyer as soon as possible. From a forensic point of view, it might be difficult to tie them to the accident due to the amount of time that's gone, but you could be within the time period needed to claim damages.

I used to work in retail tire shops and quick lube places.
Me and a coworker drove a customer's car around to check out why it was wobbling. Dude had his whole fam in the car.
shyt was all over the place. We drive back to the shop from going around the shopping center.
Before we even put it on rack, I glance at the wheels. Right front tire had ONE lugnut on and it was not snug.
Guess who worked on the car last? Our "top" mechanic.
I quit a month or two later.
Always walk around your car in the parking lot at worst, ask to take a look at the car on the rack at best.
Folks would watch me like a hawk while working on their vehicle. I didn't take it personal, their life is damn near in my hands at that point.
