the bears offense is based on precision. The nikka cant throw anymore. We don't need a big name washed QB.

Sorry bub, but a healthy Cam Newton is better than a healthy Dak Prescott. Cam has some mechanics issues at times but he's surely more impactful than Dak has ever been. To me, Dak is a black version of Ryan Tannehill: Good enough with the right OL and skills players around him but nothing special to carry a team.

And you're probably right, "healthy Cam" is a mythical creature the last 2 years and perhaps we may never see such creature again. And that's a major factor. But i'd like to think he's got at least a good 2-3 prime years left IF/WHEN he heals up

This right here the Coli needs to let it go.

Cam aint healthy, He dont care about being healthy.

Yall need to stop using this logic. I know yall are fans and Cam is your hero but its ova. He aint rewinding that clock to 2015. Life just doesnt happen that way.

Not a single NFL player has had these injuries then magically became what they were years prior. Yall holding onto the past and its time to let it go

Cam's first four years:

.484 win percentage (30-31-1)
2x division champ, 1-2 playoffs (2 playoff apps)
59.5% comp, 82:54 Td/int, 85.4 passer rating, 232.7 ypg, 7.5 ypa
41.5 rushing ypg (2571 yds), 33 TD, 30 fumbles

Dak is only 35% thru Year 4 so far but he has in common with Cam that he's a Day 1 starter, so here's how he looks so far:

.648 win percentage (35-19)
2x division champ, 1-2 playoffs (2 apps)
66.5% comp, 78:31 Td/int, 96.8 passer rating, 236.3 ypg, 7.6 ypa
19.9 rushing ypg (1077 yds), 20 TD, 25 fumbles

Playoffs (both played three games):

Cam:

61.3% comp, 5:5 Td/int, 237 ypg, 7.6 ypa, 80.4 passer rating
126 rushing yards, 4.5 ypc, 3 fumbles

Dak:

64.1% comp, 5:2 Td/int, 264.7 ypg, 7.7 ypa, 95.7 rtg
45 rushing yards, 4.5 ypa, 2 TD

On paper they are very comparable thru Year 4, and I think overall they are comparable. Dak is the more accurate passer, but Cam was harder to defend because he was the better athlete. Both got top seeds and face-planted at home ('13 Panthers, '16 Boys). Dak's team has been more consistently better and you can make the argument Cam wins more with Dak's team, because that's basically what Cam got in Year 5 and he won the MVP...

So you can say Cam's ceiling was higher but even in that year he wasn't accurate, so I think Dak has the better mechanics. I don't see any argument for Cam being more than marginally better than Dak thru 4 years, it's as close to 50/50 as it gets...

Ben is the qb of the steelers. He makes too much and would carry too much in dead cap if released. And cam is jot an upgrade there

the Bears squad is about the defense.
They just need someone that can put up a few points every game...move the ball, and keep the clock going.

A healthy Cam can do that...dink and dunk to Robinson and that running back (cant think of his name now).

But Cam needs to sit out all year to let his body heal up.

I think he's done though...football is not a game you can halfway play...you gotta be all in.

If you're the bears and you have a mildly inaccurate Qb that gets hurts when he runs, then you go and trade for a.....mildly inaccurate QB who gets hurt when he runs...why?>?
