Trading for him before the season starts would be stupid af. You literally padded on him three or more times. Your fans would hate you :russ:

Maybe they think he's not an NFL Quarterback
Nah they do.

It's just that he's Deion's son and they don't want that personality in a Black QB.

If he looked like Baker Mayfield or Quinn Ewers......or......if he played WR/DB, they'd be OK with his arrogance. Black QBs cannot give off arrogance.

Of course if he was a shythead in those meetings with teams....that's on him.

Now if Prime and em were playing 5-D chess, it could all be part of some masterful plan (doubt it but Prime has always been shrewd as fukk). He knows his kid isn't ready to jump in and be a starter. As a 1st/2nd rd pick, and Black, they'd throw him into the fire like Fields or Caleb and he doesn't have the raw ability those guys have. By tanking his value, he's viewed as more of a project and deals with less expectations. More time to develop....won't have to start until he's ready.

Not saying that was the plan, but shyt might work out better for him versus getting drafted to be a savior when he's not ready to be THAT GUY just yet.:sas2: :sas1::manny::jbhmm:

That's complete bullshyt and it’s goofy that people keep bringing them up.

If they thought he was talented like that then he wouldn't have dropped like that.

All I will say, is that while I can see why some people didn't think he was a 1st round talent...

He should have NEVER fallen to the 5th round.
According to who? Players fall in the draft all the time. He isn’t the first that’s happened to.

We could say that about a lot of those guys.

You're essentially saying that a lot of those coaches and FO are literally spiting themselves and putting their job on the line just to each Shedeur a lesson.
They better hope he don’t work out no matter when he plays. It’s not like people will forget about him falling to the 5th round. If no quarterback picked befor him makes it and he somehow comes in and does well… oh boy! They better keep treating him like a 5th rounder lol. I never seen a 5th rounder talked about more in my life

I can't say that because if coaches and front offices are effectively doing their jobs -- and we know that some of them are fukking up in their posts -- then they take the player that best fits what they do unless he's a 1-of-1 talent worth building around or adapting to. I'm not a Best Player Available type of person when it comes to drafts and such, unless I have no glaring needs or the need I do have is filled by the BPA.

I don't know what they saw on film to warrant Shedeur sliding that far. For example, I wouldn't take Tyler Shough or Jalen Milroe over Shedeur based solely on film and/or in Shough's case, injury history. But if the team making the decision requires a big arm (Shough) or a top-level athlete at the position (Milroe), then I get it.

But in Seattle's case, their OC is a Kyle Shanahan disciple. Their two best WRs are route technician types. To me, that offense calls for a QB who is accurate to the short and mid-levels of the field, can deliver on time and on the move, and maintains composure/accuracy under duress.

From what I've seen, that sounds like Shedeur more than it does Jalen Milroe. I believe Kellen Moore has a similar vision for the Saints offense, but with more playaction and such. Shough, I'm guessing, has more experience in Pro Style offenses compared to Shedeur.
