love my wii u, def the best single player expirence to drop in a while and in house multi :manny: plus you can sell your old wii and just use the wii u for those games. Just most people are into online and achievments as of late, and also, Nintendo (while usually great games) uses alot, or I should say all, old franchises and that puts people off as well.

All I know is, if you give it a try, you will probably like it, havnt seen one person not enjoy their purchase yet.

:obama:You said it. I refuse to have any next gen system without a Wii U to play Super Mario, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart games by it's side.

:ufdup:They gonna keep making them games forever too.

You'd have to be in complete denial to not see the Wii U has the best home console library at the moment, as far as next gen consoles go. Hell, I'd go so far as to say a game like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate alone is worth the price of the console. Literally hundreds of hours of excellent, challenging gameplay, and hours of free dlc content that can be downloaded at any time. Plus you can play with a team of 4 online, and there are separate quests to play with friends that aren't even apart of the single player campaign. The amount of content is staggering. I've had it for months and still barely scratched the surface.

But enough about Monster Hunter, the Wii U has several games worth playing. Some of the multiplats are superior to their PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts, and the exclusives are traditionally high quality Nintendo, with my personal favorite so far being the incredibly fun Super Mario 3D World, which gives platformer fans such as myself plenty to feast on, and then some. This console is literally a platformer fan's wet dream; there's so much to choose from, both digitally and retail. Now that the big multiplayer games are about to come out like Smash and Kart, the system will finally hit its peak, and it doesn't hurt that Bayonetta 2 is exclusive. :youngsabo:

If y'all need some recs, let me know.

Ok, I'm getting one tonight. I am getting Mario 3d world and Zelda Windwaker, but I don't know if I should get Donkey Kong, Pikmin 3 or Monster Hunter 3 as my 3rd game. Which one do you all recommend? At first I was definitely going to get monster hunter 3 but then I was looking at some gameplay of it and I don't like how slow it is. Seems like all you do is kill dragons so that you can make new weapons and armor.

:wow:The music

:ohlawd:The difficulty
:whew:That HD quality
:yeshrug:It's Donkey Kong Country breh
I bought that donkey kong country returns game for the Wii and I liked it, but it was boring to play it single player, which is why I considered getting Ultimate Monster Hunter 3 instead. Plus I saw on the ign game review that Donkey Kong is really hard. While I don't mind the difficulty, I don't know if I have time to put a lot of time into the game right now with the backlog of ps3 games I have.

:heh:Tropical Freeze is like 10x harder than the last dk game. I had to put it on the shelf, couldn't beat the first world. But I'll be playing it again once I get bored of South Park Stick of Truth and finish SM3DW.

The reviews for mh3u sorta miss the point that it's not of this world. It's a must cop, but it's waaaay different to anything you played. Rewards patience and investment though. I love it.
