As touchy as Pac was I’m surprised he never responded to this

Nah he was a crash dummy but I'm saying, going against the Wu would've probably been rougher than picking on bad boy and even that turned into some Ls for suge

Yes, A crew full of gang members from diff gangs were terrified of the wu...yes.

I woulda took that personally and I’m nowhere near as temperamental as pac was

so if your brother was in jail and you asked me to hold a gun for you or some shyt and I’m like “hell no I ain’t tryna be in jail with your brother”

you wouldn’t think I was outta pocket?

gfk ain’t have to say pacs name idk what made him do that

And like I said he dissed nas for so called subliminal disrespect

We know....thus why this dumbass thread was made

You thinking about Wu the rap group. I'm talking about the WU, the same click that the FBI labeled a major criminal organization with ties from La Cosa Nostra to Bloods and more. Multiple murders, gun running, drug trafficking in NY and the Midwest, assault and battery. All types of rappers got beat the fukk up by these guys everybody from Mase to 50 cent to Joe Budden, pressed Action Bronson at Sean Prices funeral. These old heads are pushing 60 and they literally just made NORE fall the fukk back for talking about AFFILIATED nikkas. Wu Tang was like the East Coast Death Row at that time that's why Pac never said nothing to them cause he wanted to unite that shyt. That's why Nas and Mobb deep were nervous about that Death Row East shyt cause the Wu really didn't fukk around nobody wanted to be beefing with 100± people... I'm far from a rapper stan but when you really study what the Wu was on these nikkas are mythical bro... I wouldn't be surprised if they had actual ninja hitters with chi elemental control

we still don’t know why pac dissed the fugees and de la soul but I’m reaching with this one lol

oooooookkkkkkk

Forget anyone disrespecting your post.

That line stood out for me since I heard it. I could have easily made this post how much I thought of it over the years so thank you.

You have Ghostface, from Wu, in a crazy era, saying "Don't wanna see Tupac" on a record in 1995 when Tupac was literally alive in jail.

That line is a complete stand out and very significant.

I too don't think he was dissing Pac, more like I'm not trying to go to jail. But the line came across smug. Like I'm out here succeeding with opportunity and free while you are in jail.

Again it's all love but it's a VERY significant line!

Pac said Wu was the Eastcoast version of Deathrow himself...at the 2:50 mark:

Wu at that time was extra deep, fukking nikkas up, robbing nikkas, getting kicked out of clubs and had ties with all types of wild cliques in NY and outside of NY.

People are so wrapped up in the mythology of Pac (and to be fair, Wu-Tang) that they aren't thinking objectively.

Do I think Pac/Death Row was scared of Wu? No.

Do I think they were smart enough to know engaging Wu as enemies, as opposed to trying to ally with them, wouldn't be wise? Yes.

People talk like Pac/Death Row were the Avengers or some shyt. Like it was impossible for them to take an L. They took Ls and handed out Ls but they weren't dumb.
