You absolutely cannot shyt on Cris Carter career but then big up Larry Fitzgerald as some generational receiver.

Legit closer players than ppl will admit, Fitz has the benefit of playing in a time where QBs were way more protected and receivers weren’t allowed to get their heads knocked off over the middle
they definitely closer than people might think

both had great hands, but Larry prolly best hands of all time. that stat of him having more tackles than drops is legendary

Someone care to tell me where Chris is rated that hes on the over? :dahell:

I dont give a fukk about sexy ypg stats. Dude was a first down merchant for his qbs and kept drives going. That is a super power to some of us who know the game and arent goofs.

Now being a possession receiver is a downgrade.

Some of yall arent football minded.

:patrice: I kinda get it, but who even has Cris Carter in their top 10? Breh was nice once upon a time but nobody ever claims he was that guy like that
No one is going to mention he said this defense of Chad Johnson because he called Ocho overrated for saying he could get open on Travis Hunter right now? He basically was saying he feared guarding Ocho more than Chris. That’s the actual more interesting debate about who was better at their peak

Larry Fitzgerald carried the Cardinals to the Super Bowl and damn near won it. Put up a legendary postseason for a WR in that run as well.

This is super revisionist

They were a 9-7 regular season team that turned up in the playoffs. Fitz had a bunch of help during the playoffs from a solid Cardinals offense filled with good players. He had an elite playoff run, carried is not the term I’d use

Cris Carter was an integral part of a 15-1 team that should’ve won the Super Bowl that year. Too bad the Vikings did Vikings shyt and missed a field goal in the NFC Championship

The net hanger of the nfl.

Probably the overwhelming majority of his touchdowns came from inside the 12 yard line or something. Sure he’s a hall of famer but there are WR with significantly fewer receptions and touchdowns I’d prefer to have if I were building a receiver corps.

That doesnt take away shyt :mjlol:

Imagine denigrating someone for doing what the whole point of the game is all about.

It wasn't a guaranteed win against the Broncos, though
