Asante Samuel Thinks He Was Better Than Deion

To be honest, I think they are folks who can say this, but not Asante Samuels.
Champ Bailey could say something like this and I wouldn't blink, the same with Rod Woodson, and maybe even Charles too, but I don't think they would........Maybe Rod would.....I wouldn't be mad if Darrell Green said it, but he wouldn't either because he don't got smoke with no one about nothing.

Nah not even those guys. They can battle it out for the rest of the top 5 but Prime is unquestionably at the front of the line.
The one time all pro is just mad that the old guys like Sanders and Sharpe (and everyone else) don’t think that he’s HoF.
It’s annoying when people play dumb and use the stat game. To exaggerate it’s like Lamelo Ball coming out and saying that he’s on the same level as Heat Bron cause they might average the same apg and ppg.

Asante never shuts up. He disrespects Belichick any chance he gets. He has an inflated idea of how good he was.
I’m not going to bash him. He was a great ball hawk and made many great plays (except that INT chance in the Super Bowl). However, he was also that type of CB that would get burned at times by taking a chance. Similar to a gunslinger QB. Was excellent during his prime.
With that said, he’s not better than Deion, and there are four Patriots CB’s I can think of off the top of my head since 2000 that I’d take over Samuel when at their best.
