He went at Revis and other greats as well. This nikka delusional, but should still probably be in the HOF.
You never really see NFL players do stuff like this. Typically there's a lot of respect for the upper room guys like Deion, Rice, Brady, Randy, Barry, LT, ect. Is there a backstory to why Asante is coming at Prime of all people?
I think his point is that QBs were more scared to throw Deion's way.that idiot must not know what the passes defended stat means
Notice how all these other CBs love the T Step... but not Deion...shows a GOAT gonna see the game wayyyy differently than players levels below. Nobody could do it or see it like Prime thats what it comes down too. The argument is Mute.
All facts.....which is EXACTLY why Deion >>> Asante.Thats actuality a liability if youre a coach (like Deion is).
Theres a reason why many GOATs don't develop most talent very well. Those GOATs are used to playing with an athletic skillset even most good pro-caliber players don't have.
Ive never seen a modern CB call the T step trash, except Deion. When you look at Deions justification for calling it trash it boils down to his instincts and athleticism overcoming the technique something most NFL CBs are never going to have and even if they do they won't have for more than 5 years after entering the league.
Coaching a player should be based on developing what's available. Teaching very strong fundamentals and techniques that work for their natural skillset and building from there.

Deion was GOAT with technique that probably doesn't work for 95% of DB's. Still got 50+ interceptions despite QBs not even wanting to throw at him.
Agreed that being such an elite athlete often makes you an iffy coach. It's why I always give Tom Landry...a lot of credit because he was a pretty damn good football player (DB/P) that became a legendary HC.
