Asher Roth album dropping tomorrow?

Albums a bit Macklemore-ish....not feeling it aside from a few tracks.

Still think Ashers dope and has potential tho

I dont think its that "macklemore-ish". Sure there are some blow instruments on it and the album have that chill/swing vibe to it. But Asher had that sound going on Pabst and Jazz which dropped way before Macklemore blew.
But I would still say Ryan Lewis sound is different then the one Asher has on this album.

I kind of get what you are saying tho. I'm just pointing it out to the other posters that havn't heard the album so they don't get put off, since Macklemore don't have that good of a rep here on The Coli.

I enjoyed the album. Even tho musically he's moving into a different direction that doesn't make it bad imo. I actually kind of like the new direction but he got a couple of joints just spitting on here too. I see nikkas saying "The I love College Guy?" people are gonna write him off without ever hearing any of the shyt but it is what it is. Its a cool album imo
