I get you but I still don’t think these few instances or occurrences compare in any way to the black American experience.
It certainly doesn't, and nothing on this Earth will ever compare to how our people have been treated, from the very first steps our ancestors were forced to take in this Country, up to today, and beyond.
The Asian-American community has been able to fly under the radar due to being propped up by whites to diminish Black progress in this Country. What I'm saying is, we all know the "Model Minority" is a myth, many of the Asian folks immigrated here come from Middle and Upper Class backgrounds, and not Bootstraps/Personal Agency as society attempts to get us to believe.
White people are pissed they are losing ground in this Country, and are unfortunately in a position to make radical, racist changes through legislation. Asians fighting for rights will now have to contend with Hispanic Whites as well, and are going to find out the hard way what happens when there aren't any Laws to protect against discrimination.
This is their high point. The drop will be precipitous, and the realization that "Stop Asian Hate" was actually a call to white people in this country from the Government, "you dont need to attack them physically or with slurs anymore, we will handle them through the Courts, and then the assaults can continue".
As I said before, dismantling Affirmative Action was there biggest mistake.
