He gave the exact problem we have today, bottom line, blacks don't stick together.

He understands our problem yes but also understands how fukked up white people are and that gives me some joy that someone else knows it and black people aren't crazy for thinking it

Not to get too deep. But as Dave Chappelle said "everyone in China is Chinese..."

African american people only been a sigular "tribe" or "race" if you will for around 200 years. Before that we were in bondage. In what world COULD we establish roots, culture and collective economics? Especially under the context of de facto and de jure racism?

I think sometimes as ADOS people we fail to realize that we are fairly new to earth as a subculture of people. Same with Latinos & Black Brazilians. The fact we are where we are is nothing short of a miracle, and testament to our mettle as a people. I'm very proud of that fact.

We've over performed in terms of our cultural contributions to the world. Obviously, we need to do more, and create more opprotunity for ourselves. But, lets not remove ourselves from HISTORICAL context. Chinese, Korean and Japanese people are a nearly a THOUSAND years deep into their collective history. ADOS not even close to that. Which is what makes ANY comparison this chinese dude said not only out of touch, but also dripping in a lack of historical context.

200 years from now when the West is majority Black/Brown we'll see what's up.

He couldn't be more right. Instead of making our own way, we beg for acceptance of our oppressors. There is no unity anymore so how can we prosper?
I think about this alot, seems the only solution is to build from the ground up. No more national/unity discussions. We just need to focus on our own communities where ever we live. That may be as small as family and friends or an entire neighborhood. You can care about what's going on in cities x, y, and z. But your primary energies needs to be spent on those in your circle.

I don't need Black People to be on code, i just need My People to be on code. We are not a monolith, that's the first thing we should understand.

Lemme just note that the irony here is that this woman isn't actually speaking japanese, despite what the clip says. I actually do speak it and was listening in on the clip out of curiosity.

Her words are gibbirish if she was making an attempt at JPnese, but more than likely she is speaking a south asian language if she was indeed speaking coherently. Her accent doesnt match either mandarin or Japanese .

The movie scene is from a crime scene in Chinatown area. The female character is supposed to be speaking Cantonese(Chinese). The redneck cop brought in the Japanese American detective to translate/interpret.

====================
What did she say?
How the hell would I know, I'm Japanese, not Chinese
