China and other Asian countries sacrificed cultural integrity to a large extent for the sake of economic advancement. India has it's share of c00ns without question but they have held on to their ancient identities for the most part, for better or worse, so progress has

you're being a little ignorant with your statement, and what you said about india is very true in china. you're looking at shanghai maybe, but shanghai is one, if not their only international city, its been open to the world for 200 years. but the reset of china is very very chinese. all of chinese neighbors have always wanted a piece or adopted chinese culture. the only other big influence in asia is india, but the chinese take pride in being the mother of asian civilizations.

Its not rare for you to have someone say 'get out of china'.
