Yalll think this is bad my Jamaican grand mother was similar. She use to think darkskined people were ugly and that light skin was beautiful. I remember one time me and my family were telling her she has African descent and she went off. She would always say she was Jamaican and mixed with Irish and Spanish. This happens in a lot of cultures where there’s dark skin and light skin people within a culture including FBA.

I've been saying for years, atleast in the Caribbean. The vast majority of "colorism" is done by old people (especially old women) and just women of any age in general. Not black men.
