personally i tip but i do think the system is bullshyt. they need to just pay their servers. not tipping is kind of an a$$hole move, but considering the owner followed him out i'd imagine theyre probably pretty rude to him regularly. what gets me is that he ran the guy down for what, a 10 dollar tip? he coulda lost the $10, but now his restaurant is gonna be known for harassing black people... hes gonna lose a lot more than ten dollars now! what a moron lol

What's absurd is that despite not tipping he's still spending money at his business. It's not enough for the customers to cover the rent, supplies, and food. They also need to pay the workers. The system is broken.

How are you asking a customer how you're going to pay your workers? That's something you're supposed to figure out.

A tip is not mandatory, it's a courtesy, meant for those who do a great job in one form or another. Not just because "that's what you do, you just give them a little extra", not to make up for someone's lack of wage or benefits.
