I thought it was just race factors in when they score around the same

I know white people say that a lot but it turns out not being true and they just assume black people have lower scores and they deserve the position more.

How would a student trying to get admitted even know who takes their place and what their actual credentials are, outside of just assuming the black kid scored less and is less deserving to be there just off race?

top schools are like anywhere from 1-3% black, and the vast majority at the Ivys are white....many got in through some sort of back door policy...yet, there's this big issue over the few blacks who are in these schools....

i'll never understand it, even if every blacks were excluded from these schools, Asians would still be underrepresented

This 100%. Affirmative action is a balancing act to keep insitutions from otherwise never hiring or acdepting anyone black.

But in all seriousness I aint even mad. Why? Because look at the amount of idiots here that think switching Republican, adapting right wing talking points, conspiracies and propaganda about "liberals" favoring one groups needs over another, and not voting (if not voting Republican) for the sole purpose of disadvantaging Democrat candidates will somehow hurt others and benefit them.

This the same right wing ideology that wants to keep college as ruthlessly expensive and inaccessible to minorities or immigrants that "did not work hard enough" as possible.

But sure, Asians wanna go Republican because Democrat policies help black kids get into college. Black people wanna go Republican because Democrat policies protect Latinos and Asians from civil rights violations. Latinos wanna go Republican because they think illegal immigrants that did not work as hard as they did shouldnt be here and their religious convictions makes them hostile to a party that stands for womens rights, gay rights, and sexual freedom. And then a bunch more dumbasses wanna jump over because they are too fukking dumb to unserstand the need for vaccination and mandates so they want the same people who got us in this mess to lead us with their ignorance again.
