AA is bullshyt because it doesn't even benefit AA's the way it was intended to. It benefits white females. And it casts this huge shadow of suspicion over black and latino students ie; "they're only here because of their race." That type of atmosphere is distracting in an academic environment. By giving only those Black and Latino students who have performed at a high level through high school a free ride, it creates an incentive for future students to strive to succeed, work hard in school, and look forward to a debt free life after putting in the work through higher education. That's something to build on. It also takes away the excuse whites and asians make for Blacks and Latino's admitted into these colleges. They will go from seeing Black and Latino college-mates as pariahs to seeing them as as the absolute cream of the crop of their respective classes, and those Black and Latino students can then go through college with their heads held high because they deserve to be there and nobody can tell them shyt.
All AA does in it's current form is enshrine mediocrity, lower the standards for those who should be actually raising them, and foster a cycle of perpetual victimhood. fukk that.
I have to say I agree with you fam. I went through a university program often being the only black kid in my classes. I'm a capable guy but I just always felt like the other kids gave me the side-eye because of this AA nonsense. It should be abolished. Good in principle but terrible in practice. One of those policies that make sense in a broad view but have unintended side-effects.

dont they get high marks anyways compared to others that right there increases their chances...

ain't even go to class over 5 times and was top of each one
