Real talk people, Jay-Z UK fame started to grow once he associated himself with Kanye. Just look at the album and single sales over here. Jay doesnt even have a number one single over here. Magna Carta is Jay's first number 1 album here, Kanye been doing it since graduation.

Get off JayZ dikk

October 10 – London, UK – O2 Arena
October 11 – London, UK – O2 Arena
October 12 – London, UK – O2 Arena
October 14 – London, UK – O2 Arena (Birmingham NIA)
October 15 – London, UK – O2 Arena (Leeds/Newcastle/ Sheffield Arena)

LEEDS/NEWCASTLE/SHEFFIELD/BIRMINGHAM

These are not London why are they in brackets. Nas sold out I think 4 UK arenas, imagine how many dates Em would have to have
1. Nas sold out 3 small venues one of which was "Under the Bridge" which fits 550 people others were The Institute in Birmingham and The Brixton academy which holds 2-3k and after that he performed at O2 with 30 "quid" for a ticket.

Jay-z has 4 shows in London, 2 in Manchester, 1 In Birmingham and 1 in Dublin I don't know why it says something else.
He shows no love to Scotland though.

The only other city which gets 2 shows is Brooklyn.

And according to the information about T in The Park, he performed at the mainstage just just before the last act on the Sunday. And his name was the "2nd biggest" after the ones that closed the main stage (Em, Kasabian and Muse).

The point is that you can't use 1 festival in Scotland in which he didn't headline, (but was ranked like #4-6 due to an English band which have headlined the festival like 3 times and never moved any records outside of England snubbing him). And not care about him selling out 4 shows in London like nothing, 2 in Manchester.. Headlined multiple other festivals in the UK, just headlined 3-4 Festivals over there this summer.

I dont know why you guys are catching feelings over this shyt. Jay is not on eminem or kanye's level over here but he's getting there, especially since he did a JOINT tour with kanye. And for the record im from one of those cities you keep mentioning.

Case in point when Jay was spitting some of his classic shyt from back in the days on the WTT tour the whole crowd went quiet, it felt like I was the only one that was amped for where im from. But he's gaining new fans from it so why does it matter? On some real shyt though, I know way more casual hip hop fans that fukk with Nas over Jay. They think he's boring and obsessed with money. This aint the US breh.

Anyways one thing is sure though Eminem might be the biggest star in the UK period, not just in rap.
Yea we have Adele & Rihanna right now and shyt, but looking over the past 13 years, he just might be.
Him and Coldplay.

He has 6 #1 tracks in the UK and 4 in the US, he's albums that moved 3-4 million in the UK which statistically would be like moving 20-30 million in the states :whew:

Again euroslut you base your whole view based simply on what you see and ignore the facts. Maybe your hate for jay has biased your information. Because the facts (8 arena shows) tell a very very different story.

I never seen snopp 50 or kanye do 8 arena shows in the uk on one tour

No one has said that Kanye and Eminem aren't bigger :what:.

Quote nikkas if you are addressing them.

What can be said however is that both Kanye and Jay have 7 top 10 songs in the UK, both sell out shows like nothing and since BP3 Jay-z even sells more records.

You're a little emotional bytch. How can I hate hate Jay when I went to his most recent tour over here WTT and have bought a number of his albums? Kill that noise. You keep talking about arena tours post-WTT and I have already addressed that but the fact still remains he isn't on Kanye's level of super stardom in the UK. Why does it matter so much to you anyway? Being a superstar doesn't reflect how good you are in reality. This is just a numbers game.

Then what the fukk are you crying about? The thread asked is Jay-Z number two to Eminem in global rap stardom and I said no Kanye is bigger, then numerous people get their panties in a bunch.

Honestly around the Graduation era Kanye was bigger than Jay in the UK. Stronger went #1 and so did the album. His other albums did better than Jay's too.

But BP3 brought Jay his first massive singles in the UK. I think RTT and NYSOM went #1 or close.

Both of their new albums went #1 in the UK.

Eminem is obviously first. Then it's Jay and Kanye. The rest are a way behind. Drake is catching up but he's never had a really massive single in the UK. His tours do numbers though. He doesn't headline festivals like the others.

Pretty certain Jay has headlined Wireless 3 times out the last 6.

Kanye really doesn't tour that much either.
