But there is something to be said about reading the Bible and appreciating the stories, allegories, and parables in it. You don't have to be religious for that.
As I get older my view on who Jesus was and who He was to his people back then has changed quite a bit.

You can’t be a Christian and Atheist. It is not possible. That is like saying. I am a 747 aircraft but my landing gears are bicycle wheels. If you are Christian you believe in general core beliefs, you might disagree on certain details. Only technical way he can be a Christian Atheist is if he's atheist but still follows Christian culture. Kinda look Jewish-Atheists who may still follow Jewish holidays and customs like the Sabbath but they don't believe.
