I'm pretty sure masculinity and femininity have to do with attraction. If they didn't then why would some lesbians only express attractions towards lesbians who dress and act masculine? From my own reading, gay men typically like more "masculine men" as well, and gay men are sexually attracted to masculinity rather than femininity. The fact some gay women prefer masculine women implies a secondary interest in masculinity, which is perplexing because if one wants masculinity, why settle for a woman?
