Anyhoo…I think it's just natural if you feel threatened by someone in some shape or form to be catty. There are usually standards in terms of attraction, and while these things may deviate slightly from person to person, everyone wants the pick of the litter. If the woman next to you is a hinderance, there may be some type of aggression, whether that be cattiness, or even befriending the individual. Me personally, I can't stand being around women with attitudes who are super catty all the time.

I think that promiscuity has kind of ruined society. While people have begun to take on this animalistic view of sex (like we have to keep mating and mating and spread seed), humans develop slower than animals because we need nurturing. The rise in promiscuity has hindered the nurture that we get and in turn, I think you see us devolving in a moral sense. I don't think that this just pertains to females either.
