What are your thoughts on the current political unrest in Venezuela, and the fact that the U.S. is backing the group that's trying to topple the democratically elected government?
I think that the US seems to promote democracy over all things. While this system of government works well for Americans, many other cultures, and peoples do not have the same values and beliefs that we do. With that being said, I think that the current socialist regime and the fact that they are jailing/killing protesters speaks a lot to the fact that they see the unrest and that the "party" is suffering. Of course America is going to back the fighters of democracy! When it benefits them of course. We do get a lot of oil from Venezuela, and without the ties of socialism, I'm sure it would free up a lot of the oil for purchase from us. All at a discounted price of course, because we supported the free market, pro democratic regime from the start of the uprising.
Bulldog or Siberian Husky?
Husky
How would you feel, and what would you do, if you found out the guy you're falling in love with, used to be a criminal, and may have a body under his belt?
Depends on what the body was for. What were his crimes?
What are your thoughts on Tyler Perry films?
I think his movies are lame. They're just caricature films IMO. I do applaud him for being successful and paving his own way. He has employed many black actors, and that's more than I can say about Hollywood. Maybe he can expand his brand, get new writers, and try different types of film...
In your opinion, who's currently the most inspiring figure for black women, and why?
I know it's a common answer, but I think Michelle Obama. She's educated, she's in shape, she's married to her children's father, and she is successful in her own right. I know we don't know the ins and outs of their relationship, but she seems to respect her husband and they seem to have a loving relationship. I think she is someone we can look up to.
What's your big dark secret?
It wouldn't be a secret if told you.
