@radio rahiem answer me this if you can

-Why does the express A and D trains go so fukkIN slow between 145th and 125th both ways? It there some rule about going fast by 135th because of things on the ground level?

-How often are the insides of trains thoroughly cleaned considering how man bums just marinate in them seats late at night. I see the workers barely mopping 1 car so they cant have time to clean the whole inside + seats

-Do motormen/conductors carry piss bottles with them and them chuck them out the window while the train is in a tunnel? LOL

-You (or someone you know) ever work a late shift and have a chick come in the front with you and ride along with you :shaq:

-I know about signals and speed restrictions and all that but how come some motormen don't flat out whip these trains and get to the stations quicker? There are times I've been on trains where they are whipping then shyts like cars LOL

-When then the Second Ave Subway opens (in a trillion years) would you wanna work that line since its new and a route different from what you currently work on?

-Who get the most bytches? Motormen/conductors or bus drivers? I stay seeing bus drivers (at night) putting in their bid with some chick by herself on the bus at night

Might be because of the buildings above, but all I've heard is there's a 15 mph speed limit there. have no idea as to why

They're cleaned once the trains hit the terminal. can't speak for the cleaners, but they do what they can because the train does have to leave at a specified time

the stories I've been told

not me personally, but once again, I've heard stories. The places where these incidents go down:krs:

-I know about signals and speed restrictions and all that but how come some motormen don't flat out whip these trains and get to the stations quicker? There are times I've been on trains where they are whipping then shyts like cars LOL
some guys might be new to the line, so they don't know all the signal placement/speed limits. The more experienced person on a line would know how to maneuver the train

-When then the Second Ave Subway opens (in a trillion years) would you wanna work that line since its new and a route different from what you currently work on?
2nd Ave is slated to open up this year I think. Like around fall/winter time. When the time comes, I might check it out. But I'm considering doing yard work

we all do, but I think bus drivers get it easier because they're more open to the customers. Us on the train have to keep our cab locked. But that can be worked around. Usually happens at the terminals for us though. en route, it's difficult, but not impossible.
fun times

Does the average motorman/conductor trip or even care if they spot someone writing graffiti on a train?

Does the MTA still have that policy of taking all trains/cars out of service that have graffiti on them?

Asking for a friend :lupe:

can you answer this for me please? I've been really curious
Uh, as a conductor it has its moments. Most days it's a smooth ride from end to end. Some days I want to rip my hair out. It's mostly easy, except when incidents happen, gotta be squared away. For the most part,we just open close doors, but we earnour money when stuff breaks.

Depends on how big. If it's bombed, then yea it's out of service. It's it's some small graffiti, then it's taken care of at the terminals. Trains are inspected at the yards for this very purpose.

Do they have the conductors do track work too?

Do you go on different lines every day or are you assigned to one?

Rookies work all the lines. I've done all the letter lines. We "do" work on tracks, but not like the other dedicated track departments. Matter of fact, I'm on the tracks now. 2nd best job in transit
