my bad for being vague about it.

thanks breh. i've seen a few ppl get robbed in the 90s. The A train was full of fukkery.
once in junior high i even saw someone dead on the steps by the 4/5 at atlantic. :lupe:
actually at that same spot i saw a chick racing her little brother up the stairs and she turned the corner and fell in the tracks. :damn: their older bro jumped in to get her.

I'm Hard Like D-Block Readin The Book Of Enoch...
muddaskunkas is all buck the system on here, but do their little civic dutiful jobs to keep Babel-On rolling..:jbhmm::krs::francis::mjlol::smugbiden:

i know/knew quite a few MTA employees out hurr, one used to drive the buses drunk, another used to chain smoke cigs and stare out his window purranoid and shyt,a few did dirt on the side, used to see drivers try to get gully with homeless/unruly kids, saw a few get their shyt bust in,a few packed for sure, but i'm sure now standards are much more stringent..

i guess all that's cool but if a wombman getting her face bashed in one can't even bother to call for help..

people's double standards blow my dome up..:mindblown: and i'm a Gem I-N-I cusp,i should overstand them more, but somehow i don't,at least not where the soul comes in..:manny:

Why is it that the C train still consistently has those old ass trains that have been around since the 70s and damn near every other line has been updated?

And what would it take for a train line to get more trains running on it? I swear the C train and G train lines have a train every 15-20 minutes...but the population increases which in turn creates crowded trains due to infrequency, is that ever taken in to account to get more trains on the tracks?

And is it at all possible that a local stop could be converted to an express stop?

They won't be here for a few years

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is expecting its order of state-of-the-art trains to be delayed, meaning ancient train cars now on the C and J/Z lines will stick around until 2022, according to budget documents and transit officials.

The old trains — a model called R32, which were considered cutting edge at the 1964 World’s Fair — are unable to leave life on the rails by 2018 as planned, costing the agency $50.2 million over the next four years in maintenance and extra train staff, according to the budget docs.

“This retirement will need to be delayed until 2022 due to delays in the delivery of (new) R179 replacement cars,” as well as growing ridership, the budget document said.

Ancient subway trains won't be replaced until 2022

Um, I have no idea. I haven't been there in close to a year. All I know is the weekend changes are due to Wilson Ave work.

I'm almost certain because of the speed limit over the bridge, and DeKalb has a lot of traffic. I mean a lot. B,D,N,Q,R all pass thru there. A lot of trains for one station. And sometimes, trains do get crossed in front of each other.
@Mike Ock ,I'm gonna need some help with something else. PM me

-What's with the MTA's insanely slow station repair schedules. At 181st and 168th on the 1 line, they have been "fixing" those stations for like 3 years and they look like pure shyt still. I see alot of contractors at the work site on some "fukk it" shyt. how do they get away with taking made long to fix things?

-Does the MTA have any policy on workers being so :flabbynsick:? ALot of the middle aged/older workers i see look like they get that consistent $ and treat it like a first class ticket to Larry Holmes Land.

-Why do alot of the express trains not feel so express anymore? ALot of times I take the 2/3 since it can outrun the 1 train but alot of times it makes no difference

-Do MTA track workers get a better contract since they routinely have to deal with rats, roaches, piss, garbage and work in dark tunnels all the damn time with 3rd world ventilation?

-Do you get a discount at the transit museum store? :jbhmm: I need that hookup and it seems like they raise their prices all the time. 1 wooden train used to be $10 and them shyts are like $16 now :scusthov:

Yeah a lot of the older workers are :flabbynsick:, which is a shame because some of the facilities have gym equipment. But you know how it is, people start getting $ & get lazy.

They put speed restrictions on a lot of the express tracks.

I'm not sure about the difference in pay for track workers.

I think employees get discounts at the museum store, again not 100% sure.

I can't give an answer on the 168 & 181 stations, sorry. I'm hoping they finish soon.
