There aren't very many rappers who have the ability to kick lyrical shyt over club bangers..
even when dudes like DMX was dropping club bangers, he didn't try to do too much... it was lyrical, but simple and melodic enough to be fit the club.

For everyone who says "ah, it's the crackbabies who love this shyt," well are all the crackbabies going to school and going to college too? That's where much of this stuff gets played. When you're in that environment, you have the people who love the mindless shyt and then the smaller minority that love backpack technical rap.
What I'll say is this: people are getting smarter, so there's less reliance on a rapper who didn't amount to nearly as much as you intellectually trying to preach to you. I'm from the hood, I have a College Degree, working on a Master's yet I'm gonna listen to an album hoping to be educated? That's ass backwards.
