Asking people to help you move is selfish

I didn't realize it until recently, but asking people to help you move is inconsiderate as f*ck

If you legit don't have money to spare then I get it. But if you're making good money and living comfortable you shouldn't be asking people to help you move

One of the guys at my job was like

"Man, this moving company is trying to charge me $300.

If I use me, you, Tony, brad, Eric, Chris, and Matt we can knock this out in 5-6 hours"

I was like

The uhaul truck is 50, so you're saving 250

is 250 worth 35-42 hours of manual labor on a weekend? Not to mention you risk scratching your sh*t up

i never realized how much sense it made to use movers until I thought about the numbers

I have no problem helping people move cuz they almost always throw a little party afterwards to thank everyone. It can be a decent workout too.

I used to work for a moving company. that shyt sucks but the pay is good. I've only helped one person move without getting paid and it was a shorty i met at a bar with the best head game i've ever received so i said fukk it and helped her. I had to smash her on the floor cause her bed was in the uhaul truck

Its easier to hire movers. Pay them $300 to load from one spot and unload at the new. Majority will have it done in 2-4hrs to make as much money as they can in a day.

i've helped a lot of people move. i've only recently realized that it doesn't really make sense.

movers exist for a reason. your sh*t is insured and they're efficient.

they have movers out here that will give you 3 movers for 75 an hour with a 3 hour minimum

3 professional movers can get a lot of work done in 3 hours if you have your sh*t packed (pause)

$300 is cheap, them moving dude's are efficient and fast as hell.
