The naval battles are cool, but whats the landscape like? AC3 had the Frontier and with Conner being half Native American (growing up climbing trees) it worked. How are they going to handle the free running? There were not a lot tall structures in the west indies during the 1600's (unless they plan on spending a lot of time in London).

i'm thinking since desmond is out of the picture, that means it's his father in the animus this time?

I thought they don't need it anymore? The one issue I have with this story is the modern setting. It is convulted and unnecessary. They could cut it out and it would not affect the story/gameplay at all

I thought the story up to Assassin's Creed II was pretty dope. The biblical paradoxes were crazy. :mindblown:

When they introduced the whole end of the world/mythical gods storyline, they lost me. It got too :comeon: for me. I literally groaned everytime I had to come out the animus in 3 and play Desmonds lame mission

In part 3 they established you don't need a ancestor to access the memories of a specific person anymore. So it could be anyone in there now.

I gave the most recent one a try cause I got the Black Friday deal. I regret it, should have bought a PSN card instead.

How did I miss that?

after desmond dies and after the epilogue someone says they hacked the aniumus. That is how you can still play as Conner.

also in Liberation your just a random person playing that girl.

It took me a while to get into the mythical gods shyt.

But the Adam and Eve story was trill, plus all the gods/fallen angels shyt was a good twist on the story. The bible mentioned fallen angels sleeping with the daughters of men and producing nephilim, Desmond's father referred to them as nephilims in ac3...so the way ac flipped it was hard to me.

The out of the matrix gameplay needs to be the same caliber as when you're playing as ancestors. Like I said before a watchdog like gameplay for the modern day shyt would be hard as fukk.
