i was looking at some gameplay on youtube for ps5 which i have. what is the verdict of this game? looks gorgeous to me. how are the mechanics, graphics, action, storyline, etc?

It's my first AC game, so I can't compare it to others. However, I had fun with it. I liked how the two players feel completely different. Naoe is more suited for stealth, Yasuke for more direct combat. The graphics are great and the story is alright.

My only gripe is that the game feels too overstuffed with repetitive busy work. I've put about 170 hours into the game and I've still only completed 70% of the activities.

I'm enjoying it. the graphics are amazing
Some people will moan about AC but it is what it is
The quality is evident
One thing some of these castles might have 50-70 dudes so a frontal assault as Naoe aint the best move

what system do you have it on and do you use performance or fidelity?

This game has a lot of activity bloat. I stopped playing shortly after I completed the main campaign, but I come back once a week to do the anomaly stuff to get keys to purchase armor and weapons from the exchange.

How is the action? I have a 120hz 4k tv and so far the only game I have bought that pushes my PS5 is Spider-Man 2.

Copped this on sale. As much as I want to play on Balanced, Quality mode looks too good

That’s where the stealth mechanics come in.

Action is cool when you unlock more moves. It's not fast-paced like Spider-Man 2.

Maybe it's because the last AC I played was Odyssey, but I'm all in on this one...bloat and all

Balanced with PSSR is the sweet spot. I'm out for revenge motherfukkers

I always use the little teenage girl with poison blowdarts as an ally.

She'll take down one or two guys, then 2 or 3 more will investigate and pass out from the poison fumes . Naoe lays in the cut and then comes out and finishes off like 4 or 5 samurai in seconds.

Shyt is a cheat code. Other allies ain't even needed tbh.
