Lots of white folks seem to have an issue with the black playable character. I’m not into this series but I think I’ll say one buy it to support a game with a black main character. Seems like it will need the support.

It's mostly White male nerds. Wierdos who think they have ownership over and like to gatekeep a culture that is not their own. At the end of the day they hate to see a Black male character in a role that is usually filled by a White one if not a native Japanese person. They really think Yaskue is going to be a Black savior of Japan and nab his beautiful Japanese female costar and it makes them mad.

You can switch back from character to character depending on the situation and how you want to complete the mission with the exception of a few missions it seems, friend.

Valhalla did the same... You could be a woman/man or switch back and forth

Speaking of which I got into a back and forth with a (presumably) cac on youtube for calling Forspoken "woke". I was like "how is it woke, it's an original property"? They're not even sticking to their own definitions of what woke is. They hide behind the veil of terms like "race-swapping" and historical accuracy but the truth is, to them woke is anytime a black character has a primary role in a movie or game.
