I tried again and put another 10ish hours in, it still didn't do anything for me.

I put in 120 hours in this when it first came out and I still think odyssey is the best of the “new trilogy”
the weapons are wildly different but yeah there's a weird.... 'balance' to what they were going for. you have to fight expecting to get punished for being sloppythe combat is horribly sluggish.
I spent so much time on this game and got burnt out. Wanted to continue, but my ps4 corrupted. My save wasn't uploaded to the cloud.

I thought Ragnorok was gonna be the last part, now i gotta reinstall and finish the last 2 quest lines. But i forced myself to get through all of this

Never got fully into to this. Played about 5-7 hours of it. The only AC game I didn’t finish. I hear it’s even longer than AC Odyssey which grew on me 
and became one of my favorite AC games.
Should I finish this up or continue to skip over it, friends?

i drop 180 hours on this game and finally finished the two main quest lines conquering England and clearing out the Order of the Ancients.
The end of the quest line has a song played and felt for the perfect roll credits moment but it like an endless runner and has no definitive end point
i spent 100 + hours and enjoyed the world -- the loot and the boss fights ..i loved the raiding mechanic- the map is beautiful and has a lot of natural story telling built in with world events and the roaming boss fights.
but the story is kind of trash and the part i skip over or ignored the most of it.
it's a game that has a lot of good stuff but kind of like breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom you got engaged the systems pretty deeply and be open to making your own adventure
making thors hammer only available after completing the ancient order quest line is kind of a waste but i assume your supposed to tackle that in the first half.
