Assuming there is one, what is the difference between older Black sitcoms and modern black sitcoms?

the older ones had better plots/creativity a show like fresh prince was completely different from family matters where as now these new sitcoms all feel the same
to generic and bland....

Truuu, we need a successful black family on TV

Also, lowkey Kevin Hart is one of the most inspiring brothers right nao

Better cultural references
Better writers
Better actors

Also, there were more black women on TV back then. Now they have a lot of Latina, white-passing and ethnically ambiguous women playing black women.

I liked Kevin Hart a lot when he first came out and I applaud the man going for his money but I feel like he's overexposing himself right now :ld:

He works really hard, dudes got a lotta movies coming out over the course of the year too.

Dude has his own production company with hartbeat productions and is one of the few brothers pushing forwards black owned movies.

Dude pockets 100% of the profits off think like a man and his stand up movies.

Brothers even got his own show, which is funny af.

He's real guy imo and you can't do anything but respect the hustle

No, Kevin Hart does not get 100% profits off "Think Like A Man" franchise. He probably received a high upfront salary for the sequel.

most black sitcoms are always based on some outrageous scenario that involves a lot of music, dancing, and cross dressing. white sitcoms just stick with situational humor.

Dude produced it tho, he distributed it too :usure:

dude's hartbeat productions company put all the money up front and took in all the profit. He's not just an actor
