Played a bit of this.

Was ok.

Without the Sony stan paint it’s just a pretty good platformer.

Comparisons to mario odyssey are crazy.

Platforming/physics are too simple.

Some of the power ups are cool, but ultimately the game feels shallow outside of the nostalgia factor.

The Ape Escape level got me in my feels tho, need a remake/remaster/reboot asap :noah:

Most of the levels, especially the ones that were very good were not nostalgia influenced levels. If you got up to the Ape Escape level, then that's just the first world. Some of the levels, especially the portal levels are challenging as hell. The first world is very easy. This game is more like Mario Galaxy than Mario Odyssey. There's this one level I think in the second world that gun to my head if it was Mario as the main character I'd swear was a Nintendo game lol. The only con I can say is some of the levels are too easy and the platforming is a bit shallow compared to other platformers.

we will see :ehh:

My biggest gripe with odyssey was the lack of challenge through most of the game.

This seems much easier/simpler so far.

Yeah it'll be easy but those void challenge levels can be legit hard at times. Same gripe with Mario Odyssey it was a bit too easy. I hope in the sequel they add more challenging areas throughout the standard levels for certain collectibles.

Had to give up on the last void challenge (for now)

It’s much harder than the master challenge level.

I think that’s the last dlc you get for the game because of the message and who you get for beating it.

I’m sure a lot of people will be happy with the last set of characters

Put the message and who you get in a spoiler tag

Finally caught up to all the trophies except the Megamix, tried a couple of times but failed..will probably need a few hours to get it. The grand master challenge took me hours :mjcry:

I was hoping they release more DLC like the Winter Wonder where I can relax and enjoy. The Playstation characters related maps were great and done so well, these guys deserved every award they got:salute:
