what were your speeds before?
i remember in MB/s my old router was doing like 7 or so. this new one is doing 28 or so. the computer itself says its connected at about 590Mbps so i'm losing a lot. don't know if it was because of the hard drive or what cause that's like 74 MB/s.

Are you getting a better wireless speed internet wise?? the internal speeds do sound impressive...

that's why i have wireless AC for internal network speeds. my internet is only 30 mbps and you can max that out on a good 5GHz N speed router. wireless AC is overkill for that.

i ran a speed test on the PS3 and its getting the full 30 mbps now that its hard wired to the AC66 which is then connected wirelessly to the AC68. over the PS3's standard wireless it maxed out at 18 mbps.

Best Buy killed this deal pretty fast. Hopefully anybody that wanted one got it. I think it was a price mistake because the cashier has to ask for an override to sell it at the $120. It rang up at full price. Now the website says its full price and every store in my state is sold out. Looks like the midday rush alerted them.

i noticed when moving files between my two PCs it can move that same 1.3 GB file in about 26 seconds. i don't know why the usb drives attached to it half that speed almost but whatever. even using a 3.0 drive the speed is about 43 seconds to transfer the same file. that's like 330 or so mbps. its funny cause that's nowhere near the speeds they list on the box but i guess you can't get those speeds in the real world anyway.
