honestly, the only way this is going to stop is if someone claps up congress.
i'm talking about someone getting in there and wetting the whole place up live on CSPAN...while the senate votes on gun control just to make sure they overstand.
and even then if 47 senators were wounded and 18 dead, i could see them turning the Congress into an impregnable fortress.
a compound encased in brutalist architecture reminiscent of Boston's city hall.
and of course armed guards, armed guards everywhere.
a sprawling and ever growing security perimeter will be put into place which will serve only to further separate themselves from the reality they have created.
