chers in Pennsylvania's capital city are asking for support after a series of violent altercations with students has led to multiple resignations.

The Harrisburg Education Association says at least 45 teachers have resigned between July and October. Association President Jody Barksdale says more have resigned since then.

Speaking at a school board meeting Monday evening, first-grade teacher Amanda Sheaffer says she has been hit and kicked by her students.

Barksdale says the association wants a task force comprised of teachers, administrators and parents to help students who display violent behaviors.I'm

The district claims not all of the teacher resignations were due to student violence. Still, Superintendent Sybil Knight-Burney says the district understands that there is a "different type of support that is needed."

I said it in another thread...Parents need to be held partially accountable for kids actions.

It needs to be something. A fine or something. Most students aren't bad, but the 4-5 out of 30 disrupt shyt so much, not only are they a distraction but lead to lack of respect from the other kids eventually.

My ex used to substitute teach while studying for her master's degree...the kids would cuss at her, grab her ass, throw shyt at her.

I couldn't do it because I would've punched one them little nikkas by day two.

This one of 4-5 dumb mothafukkaz I'm talking about...

I was a student in a fukked up school. U had teachers who didnt put up with the bullshyt and teachers who were door mats. U calling me dumb for pointing out that your ex was a doormat??

:patrice:

Now what was really dumb was u saying parents need to be fined if their kids do something dumb. Too many kids with special needs and on medication out here for some dumb ass rule like that.

I went to school in Philly and the kids were atrocious.

Parents need to do better.

Wussup with these remarks about what the parents need to be doing? :what:

I can tell most of ya'll who talk like this have no kids.

If u dont have kids STFU about what parents need to be doing

Kids can have the greatest parents and still turn stupid around their friends.

Now that's a response. Maybe you aren't dumb after all.

I spent 7 years in the Philly public school system.

Nevermind you don't know my ex...nevermind badass kids go unchecked for months, if not years...

I'm not faulting the kids for having "special needs"...I'm blaming the parents for letting their badass kids go unchecked. And when the kids gets checked its the fukking teachers fault.

Miss me with your weakass argument bruh. If kids are bad, the parent needs to be held responsible. Nmot only will it make the parent actually parent...but maybbe the kid will check themselves so their par nets don't have to go through no bullshyt.

U can't do shyt because the school administration will take the parents side to avoid lawsuits and half of these parents are fukking losers themselves..

Start putting heavy fines like $100 or $200 dollars i guarantee those opioid using and ratchet ass parents would change their behavior

It’s gonna get to a point where they are just gonna dismiss trouble students from school after a certain age. Meaning they just either gonna have to get a ged or just gonna be a lost cause without one. These teachers especially in the high school level are not getting paid enough to be dealing with that shyt
