Im only responding to yall so there is balance in this thread. My pops fought for Biafra and I have family back home in Abia State who are in IPOB and i was there just in 2020.

My view of Nigeria comes from being in contact with my people back home daily and also being a grown ass man who actually does things and not a professional internet ranter.

I'm in Nigeria half the year and know what's happening on ground. What I'm doing on here is lightwork & I dont run my mouth. Only thing I will say is either you die on your knees or die fighting. Igbo politicians are not working for the best interest of the people, and know the country is collapsing and taking as much as they can, moving funds to foreign bank accounts, collecting different passports, and securing properties & businesses internationally waiting for the inevitable.

What happened to those shouting restructuring? I dont argue with Nigerians and dont resort to insults, because I realize some of you are the biggest hypocrites. When it comes to whites and black Americans you all get real philosophical and holier than thou, but when it comes to your own people, you put blinders on when it comes to corruption, incompetency, and nepotism because the person is from your tribe and/or village.

Oh yeah, and the argument of my (insert father, brother, uncle, grandfather) fought in the Biafra War. No shyt. Any Igbo person living today has someone who fought the war because it was brought to us. My grandfather donated his pistol to Ojukwu when they went door to door looking for ammunition. My uncle was 14 and still carries a bullet wound from the war. Even after the war he went missing for 1 year because the Nigerian troops were looking for him. How about my aunt who married an Ikwere man who loved her, and instead of killing her during the rampage against the Igbos during the war in the river state area, she ran & lived in the bush in a bordering town crossing Imo state to avoid being killed. I can go on....

It was not a war, more like a genocide. I digress. The saboteurs in our land were rewarded & that's why till this day, some our people have sabotage running through their veins. And the interest of their belly is more important than the people. I have nothing against Peter Obi, and if Nigeria was a sane country I would have no issues voting for him. But I am a realist and know even if the North & UK govt decide to allow him there that it wont stop ISIS, ISWAP, or Boko from doing their mission. And the day he starts tackling them they will do him like GoodLuck and say he is killing our northern brothers.
