how do you get 4 meals out of a rack of ribs ? you eat 2-3 ribs a meal ? even then thats basically 1 day maybe 2 days of meals at best.. thats still near $60-70 if you just eat ribs + potatoes a week :mjlol:

Rack of ribs is 3000calories at least with 250g protein

Bag of 5lb potatoes about 8-10 potatoes @ 250cal each with butter

1lb of frozen spinach $1.50 x2 = 3.00

Tea is about 50cents a gallon 128oz

3/4 ribs + baked potatoes + spinach +tea

=

About $5 meal = about 1200calories 70g protein

you know what they might could be correct. i forget i be buying the big ass blocks of cheese, or the organic grass fed cheese, or the cheese freshly grated in the market. no way those going for $2 but yeah maybe if i buy those little packs of like 6-7 slices of basic cheese, it might go for $2. but even then im going to buy like 3 of them and put some in the freezer, not trying to go shopping every week. it's so many variables to consider in food shopping.

turkey at my market is like 6-7 a pound.

I haven’t seen lunch meat under $7.99 a pound in years.. unless it’s that square ham..

It seems to be stabilizing. I still want prices to be lower, but I feel like my dollar is working more now that it was a few months ago. Hope the prices keep going down. These grocery stores have to be tired of having to put those yellow stickers on so much shyt. Make it cheaper and you’ll sell it quicker 🤷🏿‍♂️

Most of the immigrant groups in your cities aren't paying these outrageous prices people keep complaining about (and I'm not even referring to the ones receiving welfare/government assistance). People just gotta know how to shop around. In an hour you can look at over 10 weekly circulars and search for deals (if you're not in a city like NYC though, your variety may be lacking).
Yep shopping around is very helpful. There is a local grocery store near me that has the best butcher section in town. and the best prices on meat.
I get all my proteins from there. Get pretty much everything else from Sam's Club.

Sir no. A pound of BS American cheese is almost 7. A pound of turkey is 9-10.

Even with bread and lettuce at that price, you likely need two pounds of the other jawns to make a proper lunch. So that's minimum 32 bucks, plus condiments (which why would you exclude? Lol). The 6 for the greens and bread, and that's basic.

Don't buy boars head unless you want half of the same for the price point. And Lord knows you better not have no kids.

But! There are deals out there for those of us that ain't picky.
why are you buying by the POUND? You know how many slices that is? shyt gonna go back before you ever use that shyt unless you freeze half or have a huge family

Either way.. A pound gonna make you about 30 sandwiches

Y'all can't shop for shyt :wow:
