i'm the type to just throw it in the bag, but if i have time i'll look for sales. like i got some green beans 4 cans for $5. last month the coke products was like half off a 12 pack, etc.
I’m the same way as I don’t think it’s worth my time to get back in the car to drive to another store to get a few items for cheaper, but today, when it got to $100 and more than half my shyt was still on the belt… I was like wtf?

yeah i guess just be glad you can handle it at this point. i see a lot of churches still doing food bags

At this point I hit up Costco, Restaurant Depot, and Aldi and put the excess food in my deep freezers.
Can't beat 40lbs of chicken leg quarters for $20.

the quality of that mystery bag of chicken :damn:

If your single, your going to have to learn how to cook in this environment.I will say going into the store is always a bad idea. Because your going to see stuff and buy on a whim. Better to use instacart, that way you only order what you need. And have time to make corrections if the price is crazy. Yeah I pay more in fees and a tip. But I spend about 50-75$ more when I go into a store and thats just junk for myself. Gotta start learning the value of rice and a casserole.

Self checkout bruh, pay for 90% of the stuff in you're cart. That other 10% that doesn't get scanned is you're compensation for bagging you're own groceries.
:yeshrug:
Sounds good until loss prevention security come tackle you in the parking lot while walking to your car. I've seen it happen before.

Capitalism....they need a way to increase earnings and the ukraine war gave them a perfect excuse.

These companies are recording record profits while they been talking about "if we increase the minimum wage then you have to pay for it" for the last 20 years.

And people wonder why some have to steal from walmart.....alot of people are trying to survive out here.

I think companies are trying to make back all the money they lost during Covid.

Or maybe more people died then we know during Covid and they're trying to make up for all the people dead
