such a crazy wild rip off unless you are a heavy heavy heavy user

seriously I work for a major carrier corporate and 95% of people who still have grandfathered unlimited data are barely using it, they're just super paranoid about data usage, it's not cost efficient for most people

I ask, so that's expected. :yeshrug:
However, I'm also inclined to invite you to eat a dikk with that sentiment, mate....in the honor of mutual feelings and the like.:troll: But it is whatever.

After more research, this looks like a decent deal if you have 4 lines (like me). Turns out it's cheaper than their mobile share plans by a long shot once my corporate discount gets in.

More info:
  • AT&T throttles after 22GB (vs. 23 for T-Mobile) for heavily congested areas. People on both carriers note that it's not a hard cap though. Supposedly, this is per line. So you can have 3 phones on an unlimited plan and if one uses 30 GB and the other uses 15GB, the 30GB one would be throttled.
  • The fourth line is "free" after 2 months ($40 bill credit)

Wish they'd just bring back the Nextel chirp :heh:

TYRONE GA!
I have Sprint:martin:

and DirecTV:patrice:

Got DTV as well and my wife and mother in law are on sprint under a plan with wifee's discount.....

Since I have to pay for my personal phone now (old job used to pay my bill :francis: ), now gotta carry a work and personal cell since their shyt is so locked down.

Was gonna pay my sister in law who works for AT&T 40 a month to join her plan (she gets 30 gigs a month and pays 100 before adding me).

:patrice:

So doing this plan (my company does get a discount of 19%) and the 10 bucks off with DTV will make my bill 71 dollars.... :patrice:

I'll just stick to paying $54/month for unlimited everything on sprint. my last speedtest was damn near 25Mbps.

Note that the discount only gets applied to the base rate and not the whole bill.
