Even with the family discount we're getting its still higher than what I'd like to be paying. I'm just waiting on fiber 1GB service to come to the area and we're going straight Youtube TV.

I dropped them too. The way their boxes integrated with Samsung smart tvs was:ohlawd: and they showed nba games in 4k hdr. But i was paying $130 for a basic package. Soon as my contact expired it was:hubie:

Been with DirecTV for 15 years. Had Comcast for internet only till this year when the AT&T fiber service was ready in our neighborhood. My fiber and DirecTV bill is now 158 a month in one bill now.

Att bought a dying business like direct tv instead of spendind the money to beat them with a a better cheaper product

They also bought a competing business (at the time) to KILL IT OFF. AT&T owns warnermedia now, they can go the streaming media route or bundle it. That was the entire play all along.

So what they lose 1 milli, they will come right back to a different service and a different product. OR just wait as streaming price skyrocket (and they will) then those customers will come crawling right back, and this time there won't be a discount to give.

5g , space x & amazon is trying to deliver 100plus mbs wireless internet . We will see how thing progress in the next 7 years

Directs is basically extorting their customers who can’t get land lines and their NFL monopoly. All I want is to watch maybe 10 untelevised steelers games and that’s $400 on top of their monthly fees.

Att has by far the worst customer service
:ohhh: Worst than Comcast? Comcast was religiously charging me a modem rental fee even though I own my own modem. Every month I would have to call in... eventually somebody would credit me and take it off... but somebody would put it right back. I remember these fools would ask me for proof of receipt for a modem I bought 3 years ago.... I was like it ain’t even one of y’all modems :martin: What I need a receipt for. ... One time this lady tried to treat me like I was lying she passed me over to her manager who denied my request. I damn near lost


From then on I have never ever called Comcast regular customer service

They already have directv now, which is streaming cable...likely one of the services satellite directv subscribers deflected to. They in the entire ecosystem plus cell service, att ain’t hurting

I guess their all the same , fcc & puc are really working for the corporations. They know what modem you have because you had to give them the serial number on the back of it so they can log into it to throttle yo azz to make sure you were not using to much bandwith . Next time ask them what serial number they have on file for yo modem & compare the number on yours . Tape the call & file a complaint with the bbb

i got that fixed. Comcast have a different line that goes to a much better customer service. It's like night and day. I never call directly in anymore... it's just to brutal. And when I call Verizon I just retention no matter what it is I'm calling for. There's no point in going through all that stress.
