Dont get it confused @Liquid I fukking hate AT&T especially U-Verse internet, and I was top U-Verse sales person in North California 3 times in a row once upon a time (lord forgive me :to: ). If theres any robbery AT&T is doing its with this capped upload speed for U-Verse.

To make things short, basically it doesnt matter if you pay for 3 mbs/download or 20mbs/download your upload speed will always be capped at 1.5 mbs :what:

thats right.. the people who pay $30 a month for internet have the same exact upload speed as someone who pays $130... :what: now thats fukked up.. especially with everything out now a days that requires uploading.. You cant even stream games on Twitch.Tv :bryan: the upload speed is too slow for quality stream :bryan: it comes out all pixelated :bryan: even though twitch.tv is one of the main features in the new consoles :bryan:

at the very least it should scale.. 3 mbs down should get you 1.5 mbs up.. 20 mbs down should get you 10 mbs up..

So are you finally admitting that 1GB and 2GB plans are ridiculous and just a scheme to squeeze more money out of customers?
well last I checked they are a company trying to make a profit.. so it doesnt matter whats right or wrong cause they have 90 million people believing in it.. I think 6 GB for a family plan of 5 should be the sweet spot(starting spot for price points.. offering 1-2 GB to a family that just bought 5 iphones was some times awkward as fukk..).. the new plans scale horribly with more lines on them. On the flip side for a lot of smaller businesses and people with 3 lines or so, it saved them money, but you'd never see that in the news.

As I said before if your location gets good T-mo service you would be a fool not to switch. Here in Tulsa the whole city is covered in 4g lte. I need unlimited because I stream Google music in my car. All my music is in the cloud :win:

yall simple as fukk and would run a business into the ground.

IF PEOPLE USED THEIR DATA JUST ON THEIR CELL PHONE EVERY COMPANY WOULD HAVE UNLIMITED DATA

WHEN YOU HAVE 95 MILLION CUSTOMERS AND 2-3 MILLION OF THEM ARE USING YOUR DATA FOR THEIR HOME INTERNET THAT IS A BIG PROBLEM AND THOSE 2-3 MILLION RUINED IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE

I SEEN PEOPLE AVERAGE 150 GB A MONTH :what: I DONT EVEN DO THAT ON MY CURRENT INTERNET AND I PLAY GAMES AND STREAM NETFLIX, ETC

SO IF IT WAS YOUR BUSINESS WHAT WOULD YOU DO? REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU SAY 150 GB FROM 1 PERSON ON 1 CELL TOWER IN A MONTH IS NOT NORMAL OR FAIR TO THE COMPANY OR TO THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE AREA.. SINCE 140 GB OF THAT 150 GB IS STREAMING NETFLIX ON THEIR PLAYSTATION AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR CELL PHONE :camby:

ALL YOU ARM CHAIR CEOS WOULD HAVE BROKE ASS COMPANIES :camby:

agreed

I use to work for AT&T so I get it, but the average person here is a just customer that wants unlimited everything & wants it for cheap thats why I just stay out of these threads

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
AT&T's Sponsored Data scheme, you may be unsurprised to learn, is also a disguised telecom throwback - the toll-free number. The toll-free number was another AT&T "innovation," which launched back in 1967. Companies would pay to subscribe to a 1-800 number and then be billed, while calls to that number were completely free. Sounding familiar? With the fiction of minutes firmly laid out and exploited among consumers, AT&T moved onto businesses with the 1-800 scheme, creating a supply-demand system out of a non-existent commodity. That is quite literally what is happening now, and the similarities are downright eerie.

Considering I don't pay the bill and we get unlimited text and data (only 450 anytime minutes though), I'll take the chance. Gonna cop a used GS4 though until that GS5 drops.
how much that cost ya a month?

be glad y'all ain't in canada brehs, owner of Netflix called our data rates, "third world" :sadcam:

Datacaps are recent. For a long time they didn't exist yet these companies still did.

no the average used doesn't want unlimited everything for cheap the nature of the internet is progressing to more and more high bandwidth use. how are we supposed to stream 4K movies with 250GB bandwidth caps?

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20...caps-have-nothing-to-do-with-congestion.shtml
ISPs have already admitted bandwidth caps are just a way to squeeze more money out of their customers.

as for mobile providers when they could fukk you on minutes they taxes heavy there and as people quit talking on their phones and started texting they fukked people there on the text message rates. now that people don't talk or text as much they basically give those away and tax on the data..

the fact that you have to sit and monitor your data in this Youtube, Pandora, Netflix, ect age of streaming HD content online internet is absurd.
