Hollyweird, drill rappers and youtubers ain’t gonna cut it
You think that’s how it’s going to go down when you talk to these young nikkas OP?
Never said that. That was a bit extreme by the way lol like wtf.. anyway. The approach is horrible. You can’t go up to anybody chest pounding and finger waving and yapping about potential like buddy in the video did.You thinking every young breh is on the corner or ready to turn up and empting the whole clip on the block is part of the problem
This. It requires many members, including the women and so on in that kid's life and so forth to reinforce any lesson instilled upon them. I used to mentor kids and tutor them and I noticed that while there was some change for the positive with them, their parents had to make changes too to reinforce what I had taught those kids. I had to explain all kinds of things to them about life beyond books and so on. You essentially have to become a second parent to the child but all that can be undone by another actual parent who is, for all intents and purposes, "ain't shyt". It's a multi-fold problem. The need for leadership is inescapable, yep.
But you're going to need more than just men in that chorus.
Get this the fukk outta here....OP
Only dudes over a certain age, or from certain areas will remember when Black male lead households were the norm, or regular.
To those born in later generations, they can only speak and relate to what they experienced.
Communities fell apart when men left the household.
