Mars is not that bad besides the radiation which I think they can maneuver around.

The temperatures range from minue to 70 degrees farenheit.
There is water everywhere on the planet underground
The planet is not red and I dont know why NASA continues that falsehood. The skies are clear.
It could be a way to start sending our spacecrafts to closer planets such as Jupiter and the moons etc.
I just think it would be good for science and mankind.

Those arent the questions you meant to having, friend :dame:
:russ:
It's an interesting question though, right?
I guess the level of the alien's intelligence would have something to do with it...like, if they were as intelligent as us or more then it would be okay. Then again, if they were more intelligent than us they'd probably see it as banging an animal :heh:

The only reasons we really need. 1.5% of the federal budget going to NASA is going to disrupt what exactly?

NASA's budget for fiscal year (FY) 2019 is $21.5 billion. It represents 0.49% of the $4.4 trillion the United States plans to spend that year. Since its inception, the United States has spent $601.31 billion (in nominal dollars) on NASA.

The damn deficit in 2019 is more than the entire spending of NASA's existence. :snoop:

what envelope? what are we pushing? we know we can rocket to space. we know if we tried hard enough we could put some people on mars. but aside from doing that. do we have a reason why? because the reasons i'm hearing are not like our original moon landing where we did it just cause ... to one up the russians.
Breakthroughs aren't always intended and cant always be foreseen... some times you just have to get out there.:manny:
If nothing else, the pursuit of knowledge/understanding justifies it.
