At this point, does drafting one and done players even matter?

Someone needs to tell him to start throwing bows. Shoot mid rangers after ISOing for 16 secs. And play all 82 games at 44mins a pop.
He's playing like a fluffy croissant when he needs more pounded yam in his game like Giannis.

I think Jabari Smith is a player that should have stayed in college another year or 2 because his development isn't where it should be. He should be a KD or KG type of player but he's not there yet.

He’s not only one. Scoot Henderson should’ve went to college, or played overseas.

For all the shyt people gave Lavar Ball, Melo came into the NBA with a lot of experience, playing in Europe and Australia.

Your title is literally about "one and done players". Spin it as you want, Wemby isn't one of them.

The logic most teams have is they will draft a 19 year old with potential so by the time they hit the rookie extention or 22, they will be a star player. But it’s gotten progressively worse every year.

You're preaching to the choir, but you can spin it as much as you want, Wemby is not a one and done. Just stop denying/dancing around a simple fact and move on breh.

Wemby is great, but he's failed to restore the feeling
I don't know about y'all, but he's keeping the feeling alive for me.

It seems the Spurs have a long term goal of keeping him healthy (not unnecessarily having him bang down low before his body has matured) and expanding his game, which is already paying dividends because teams are now defending him as a legit 3-pt threat. On the other end of the floor, he's looking and playing like the most destructive defensive anchor we've seen in a minute -- ain't nothing that could be perceived as being a "fluffy croissant" about that.
