Pats fan here, I say we stop the Brady/Maye talk. there will never be another Brady. Drake Maye having a good start to making his own "Drake Maye" legacy and I'm here for it.
It's still early in his career, but he's been phenomenal this season. I've said it many times that people like to write off players too early and crown players too early. With that being said, he looks like a seasoned veteran out there this season.
Put aside all of the statistics that are showing Drake Maye ranking at the top or near the top in many categories. Just look at some of the throws he's been making. His deep balls has been beyond impressive. He's placing as perfectly as a QB can place the ball. He's moving well in the pocket, running when needed, and not taking unnecessary hits when running.
I did not know what to expect from him coming out of college as I never saw a lot of him, but he's exceeded all expectations I had of him. He doesn't even have a real #1 game-breaking WR like a lot of the elite QB's in the NFL. He has Diggs who has been excellent, but the Patriots offense could use another big weapon.

I think it is way too early to predict that Drake Mate will out traject Tom Brady.

If this 2025 Patriots team around Maye had a better line, it wouldn't even be that far off from some of the teams Brady had
